Game 1 – TD + Hero Defence

  • Camera: Top Down (if 1 device) or FPS/3rd Person (Orc Must Die)

  • Gameplay:

  • Player controls 1 hero

  • Each player has their own base

  • Goal is to destroy the other player’s base

  • Spawn minions by fighting for spawn points around map (Fixed points but random activation)

  • Increase number of activated points as battle drags on

  • Only Minions can do damage to the other player’s base

  • Heroes only can only do damage to minions and other heroes

  • Minions drop resource

  • Players can use resource build walls to reroute opponent’s minions (Like those open area TD)

  • Decision Making:

  • Players to choose to support / destroy minions vs Getting point

  • Issue:

  • Balancing

  • Game might end up being decided early.

  • Very hard to recover from earlier damage to castle during late game as players will tend to ignore fighting one another and concentrate on capturing points

Game 2 – Summoners Arena (Magic The Gathering)

  • Camera: Top Down

  • Gameplay:

  • Fixed Set of summoners with different abilities and summons

  • Players split into 2 sides. (1v1 or 2v2)

  • Players can summon up to a limited number of summons

  • Govern by Mana that can be stolen from opposing players

  • Goal is to destroy the opponent

  • Notes:

  • No further discussion

Game 3 – Weird Arena (Poy Poy 2)

  • Camera Top Down

  • Gameplay

  • Select character with unique ability

  • FFA fight in different arena stages with different obstacles

  • Actions are as weird as possible

  • Design pillar is mainly comedy

  • Objective is to be the last one standing

  • Notes:

  • No further Discussion

Game 4 – Physics Shooter Arena (GunBound / Worms)

  • Camera: Side Scroll

  • Gameplay

  • Pick a character or a set of characters

  • Attacks are projectile based

  • Destroyable terrain

  • Mainly FFA

  • Objective is to be the last one / team standing

  • Notes:

  • Need to find out how to destroy terrain
